Το βράδυ της Κυριακής 8 Μαρτίου 2009, ο Σάκης Ρουβάς τραγούδησε το "This is our night" στο περίφημο "CIRCUS show"της Μόσχας και κέρδισε το χειροκρότημα του κοινού. Στο ίδιο σόου εμφανίστηκαν ο δημοφιλής ποπ τραγουδιστής Φίλιπ Κιρκόροφ και η Ανυ Λόρακ που εκπροσώπησε την Ουκρανία στη Γιουροβίζιον 2008.

ερμήνευσε το ερωτικό "My heart will go on"... Έχει συνεργαστεί με μεγάλα ονόματα της Βαλκανικής μουσικής σκηνής όπως ο Zeljko Joksimovic και ο Kemal Monteno ενώ ο ίδιος δηλώνει μεγάλος θαυμαστής των Andrea Boceli και George Michael! Biography :
Igor Cukrov
24-year old Igor Cukrov from Šibenik, whose family moved to Split when he was only two years old, had dreamt about becoming a priest at one period of his childhood. Today he is in the third year student of Theology in Split.
“I’ve decided to enter this university because philosophy was my favourite subject when in the high school. Beside that, I’m a fervent believer. A few years ago I had been even reflecting about becoming a priest, but my desire to sing was stronger,” said Igor and added that these studies fulfil him completely.
His performance at the Split Music Festival in 2007 with the song Duša Mi Je Bili Kamen was crucial for his decision to dedicate to singing. He also won the Best Debutant Award there. Igor sang the first tenor in the Dalmatian vocal ensemble Cambi. He plays several music instruments: guitar, piano, trumpet and clarinet and his favourite music genres are pop and rock.
When he participated in the biggest regional competition, Operacija Trijumf, he became the public’s favourite and went all the way to the finals. Fascinated by his charisma and vocal capacities, Tonči Huljić offered him collaboration. Thus Cukrov had left the competition and applied for Dora with the song Beautiful Tena which he won.
Andrea Šušnjara
Andrea Šušnjara was born 26 February 1987 in Split. At the age of three, she discovered music and since then she has had only one goal – to become a singer.
Apart from regular elementary school, she went to music elementary music school where she had been practicing the piano for six years. She went to linguistic high school and solo singing lessons later on.
In 2004 she made her debut at the Dora with the song Noah, where she scored first in the semi-finals, while in the finals she placed second.
The same year she debuted at the Split Music Festival with the song Kad Zažmirim and won the Best Debutant Award.
In 2005 Andrea went to Dora with the song Ljudi S Mora and won the fourth place.
The same year, Andrea made an aria and an introduction theme for the first Croatian soap opera Villa Maria and appeared in albums of foreign musicians: the group Bond and the Russian violoncellist Ksenija. Due to her regular education at the Faculty of Philosophy and the studies of opera singing, Andrea was not present for a while at the Croatian music scene. However, Tonči Huljić invited her and she accepted to appear as a guest in Igor Cukrov’a song Beautiful Tena. Her charisma and fabulous vocal interpretation surely contributed to Igor Cukrov’s triumph at the Dora this year.

O Kamil Mikulcik γεννήθηκε στη πόλη Trnava το 1977. Υπήρξε φοιτητής στο Οικονομικό Πανεπιστήμιο της Μπρατισλάβα ενώ παράλληλα έκανε μαθήματα υποκριτικής τέχνης και φωνητικής στο "Academy of Performing Arts". Είναι γνωστός στη χώρα του κυρίως σαν ηθοποιός. Η Nela Pociskova γεννήθηκε στις 4/10/1990 στη Μπρατισλάβα και παρά το νεαρό της ηλικίας της είναι ήδη γνωστή κυρίως μέσα από τα musicals που έχει συμμετάσχει αλλά και για τις υψηλές φωνητικές της ικανότητες. Η Nela τραγουδά από τα οχτώ της χρόνια και την ανακάλυψε ο σκηνοθέτης Jan Durovcik. Φέτος συμπληρώνει 3 χρόνια φοίτησης στο Κρατικό Ωδείο της Μπρατισλάβα.
Στις 14 Μαϊου ο Kamil και η Nela εκπροσωπούν τη Σλοβακία στη φετινή Eurovision με τη μπαλάντα "Let' tmou". Αξίζει να
σημειωθεί ότι φέτος η Σλοβακία επιστρέφει στον διαγωνισμό μετά από απουσία 11 ολόκληρων χρόνων...

Μετά από δέκα χρόνια επιστρέφει η Σλοβακία
Μετά από δέκα χρόνια απουσίας από τον θεσμό της Eurovision, η Σλοβακία επιστρέφει, με το κρατικό STV. Παρόλο που στην αρχή είχε αποφασιστεί να γίνει ένας τελικός, κατά τον οποίο θα επιλεγόταν το κομμάτι που θα εκπροσωπήσει την χώρα στον διαγωνισμό, η αποστολή πολλών ποιοτικών τραγουδιών, οδήγησε τους υπεύθυνους της κρατικής τηλεόρασης στην απόφαση να διοργανώσουν πέντε ημιτελικούς !
Στον κάθε ημιτελικό, επιλέχθηκαν δύο τραγούδια με την ψήφο του κοινού και ένα με την απόφαση της επιτροπής. Την Δευτέρα διεξήχθη ο πέμπτος και τελευταίος ημιτελικός και έτσι προέκυψαν τα 15 τραγούδια που διαγωνίστηκαν στις 8 Μαρτίου.

Nela Pociskova - popular actress and singer
Nela Pocisková, an actress and singer known from musicals and popular TV shows, was born in 1990, in the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava. Currently, she is in her third year of study at the Bratislava State Conservatory.
Nela Pocisková starred as Maria in West Side Story, and has received much praise and raised a lot of interest also for her other theater roles. The role of Nela Petrovičová in the popular TV-series, Ordinácia V Ružovej Záhrade (Doctor´s Office In The Rose Garden), has brought immense popularity to the young actress. In the TV series her partners are Ján Alžbetkin and Kamil Mikulčík, with whom she performed her song in the Slovak national final of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest.
Kamil Mikulčík - the male voice on stage
Kamil was born on the 18th of November in 1977 in Trnava. He's studied in the University of Economics in Bratislava and at the same time also in the Theatre Department of the Academy of Performing Arts where he got the Master of Arts degree in 2001.
He's performed in many plays and has even composed some of them!
Kamil's a permanent member of Jakub Nvota’s Traveling Theatre as an actor and musical composer and he's been involved with radio-shows, films and advertisements.
Rastislav Dubovský - the piano master
Rastislav was born on the 8th of October, 1976. He graduated from the Academy of Music and Drama in Bratislava with the specialization in composition. He also completed the postgraduate study of composition at Universitat Für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna. He was awarded a composition prize Reichenau (1999) for the work Pulsation and composition prize SOZA (2000) for the work Woodwind Quartet.
Rastislav is the author of orchestral, chamber, and electroacoustical compositions presented in Slovakia and abroad. Besides concert music he composes music for films, television and radio, theatre, dance and pantomimic performances, musicals, songs and music for children. Over last years he has also worked as a music director and arranger of multimedia projects of various artistic styles.
Jan Pospíšil - maestro on the cello
Jan Pospíšil plays first cello in the orchestra of the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava. In 2001, he completed his studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and is currently also working on his doctoral studies.
He graduated from the Conservatory in Brno. He has successfully participated in various competitions, such as the National Chamber Music Competition in Česke Budejovice (first prize), the International Heran´s Cello Competition (third prize), and the Conservatory Competition of the Czech Republic (second prize). He continued to perfect his playing through master classes with various teachers.
Currently, Mr. Pospíšil teaches at the Church Conservatory in Bratislava. He is also the artistic director of a cello group called Čelisti (the Cellists). Mr. Pospíšil is a member of the chamber orchestra Bratislava Classic, as well as of the Slovak Festival Orchestra, a chamber orchestra which performs mainly in Ireland and Northern Ireland. With both groups he performs both as a soloist and as a regular member of the orchestra. He gives concerts in the Czech Republic as well as abroad and has performed in Slovakia, Finland, France, Italy, Germany, Poland, Austria, Spain, Japan and Ireland.

ΒΙΟΓΡΑΦΙΑ:Η Kejsi Tola γεννήθηκε μόλις 16 χρόνια πριν στην Αλβανία! Ξεκίνησε να τραγουδά από τα 10 της όταν έκανε μαθήματα φωνητικής για κλασσική μουσική (Canto). Έχει συμμετάσχει ακρετές φορές σε πάρα πολλά εθνικά
φεστιβάλ της χώρας της όπως τα "Voices of the Youths", "Tirana Festival", "Festival of Children", "Top Fest" κερδίζοντας σε αρκετά απο αυτά την πρώτη θέση... Η Kejsi επίσης συμμετείχε το "Friday Night Fever" (η Αλβανική έκδοση του Pop Idol)
κερδίζοντας και εκεί την πρώτη θέση. Με αυτή τη νίκη έγινε διάσημη στη χώρα της κάτι που την οδήγησε στη συμμετοχή της στο "Festivali I Kenges". Δισκογραφικά δεν έχει κάνει καμία δουλειά μέχρι στιγμής και παρά το γεγονός ότι πολλοί το περιμένουν λίγο μετά την ESC, η ίδια διαψεύδει τις φήμες αυτές καθώς δηλώνει ότι είναι πολύ νέα ακόμη και έχει όλο το χρόνο μπροστά της για να ψάξει τραγούδια καλά και γραμμένα από
σπουδαίους συνθέτες... Προς το παρόν έχει επικεντρωθεί στη συμμετοχή της στην Eurovision 2009 με το τραγούδι "Me Merr Ne Enderr"...

Biography
Kejsi Tola is a 16 year old Albanian singer and the winner of Albanian Idol 2007. In 2008 she was the winning contestant in the Festivali I Këngës competition to find the representative for Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, Russia. Kejsi's entry has been submitted by Edmond Zhulali who was responsible for the nations very first Eurovision entry The Image of You in Eurovision Song Contest 2004 performed by Anjeza Shahini.
Tola will now represent her nation at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Russia after winning the national final on December 21.

Ο Νορβηγός Alexander Rybak είναι φαβορί
Ενας ερωτοχτυπημένος Νορβηγός απειλεί ευθέως τον Sakis! Ο Alexander Rybak θα εκπροσωπήσει τη χώρα του στη Eurovision με ένα ερωτικό τραγούδι που έγραψε για τα μάτια μιας... παντρεμένης και τα στοιχήματα τον θέλουν ήδη να έχει «σκαρφαλώσει» μία θέση πιο ψηλά από τον Ελληνα pop star. Το τραγούδι του Alexander «Fairytale» διαγωνίστηκε στο νορβηγικό τελικό της Eurovision και οι fans του ανά την Ευρώπή φάνηκαν σίγουροι για την πρόκρισή του (από την πρώτη κιόλας στιγμή). Και τα στοιχήματα -έως τώρα τουλάχιστον- τους δικαιώνουν!
Γεννημένος στη Λευκορωσία στις 13 Μαΐου του 1986, ο Alexander μετακόμισε στη Νορβηγία όταν ήταν μόλις 4 ετών. Οι γονείς του είναι και αυτοί αναγνωρισμένοι καλλιτέχνες στη Νορβηγία. Η μητέρα του, Natalia Valentinova Rybak, είναι γνωστή πιανίστρια και ο πατέρας του, Igor Alexandrovich Rybak, διάσημος βιολιστής. Τα ταλέντο τους προφανώς πέρασε στην επόμενη γενιά. Ο Αlexander έμαθε από μικρός να παίζει και τα δύο μουσικά όργανα. Το μεγάλο πάθος του βεβαίως ήταν πάντα το βιολί, το οποίο παίζει και πάνω στη σκηνή.
Η εμφάνισή του ως «αρσενική Βανέσα Μέι» (όπως τον αποκαλούν) αποτελεί δίχως αμφιβολία ένα σημαντικό ατού στη συνολική παρουσία του on stage. Οσο για το μεγάλο «όπλο» του, δεν είναι άλλο από το πάθος με το οποίο τραγουδάει το κομμάτι που έγραψε ο ίδιος για μια πρώην αγαπημένη του, την οποία δεν έχει καταφέρει να ξεπεράσει ακόμα. Το κους-κους που έχει ξεσπάσει στη Νορβηγία οργιάζει και τα καλλιτεχνικά media της χώρας «καίγονται» να μάθουν την ταυτότητα της πρώην που ενέπνευσε τον Alexander.
Ομως ο νεαρός καλλιτέχνης αρνείται πεισματικά να την αποκαλύψει, γιατί η κοπέλα είναι πλέον παντρεμένη! Ο Alexander έγινε εξαιρετικά δημοφιλής στην πατρίδα του όταν πήρε μέρος στο talent show «The Big Chance» και κατάφερε να κερδίσει την πρώτη θέση. Το ίδιο ελπίζει ότι θα συμβεί και τον Μάιο στη Μόσχα, απειλώντας πλέον ανοιχτά τον δικό μας Σάκη Ρουβά. Τουλάχιστον τα στοιχήματα αυτό λένε, καθώς μέχρι στιγμής θέλουν πρώτη τη Νορβηγία και δεύτερη την Ελλάδα με τη Βρετανία, και στις επόμενες θέσεις την Τουρκία και τη Μάλτα.

Alexander Rybak
Alexander Rybak (born in Minsk, Soviet Union (now Belarus) on May 13, 1986) is a Norwegian violinist, singer, composer and actor. Rybak will represent Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, Russia.
Early Life
Rybak was born in the former Soviet Union in what is now Belarus. He and his parents moved to Norway when Rybak was four years old, and that is where he grew up. He has been playing instruments since the age of 5, and he can now play the violin and to some extent the piano. Rybak's parents are Natalia Valentinovna Rybak who is a well-known pianist and Igor Alexandrovich Rybak who is a well-known violinist in Norway. Alexander has stated "I always liked to entertain and somehow that is my vocation." He lives in Nesodden outside of the Norwegian capital Oslo.
Professional life
Rybak was awarded the highly respected Anders Jahres Culture Prize in 2004. He entered the Norway's version of Idol reaching the semi final and in 2006 he won the talent competition The Big Chance (Kjempesjansen) on NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation) with his own song Foolin’. Alexander Rybak has collaborated with artists like a-ha’s lead singer Morten Harket and Arve Tellefsen. As of 2007, Rybak played the fiddler in Oslo Nye Teater's production Fiddler on the Roof for this role he won the Heddaprisen. He stars as Levi in the film Yohan by directed by Grete Salomonsen, among Rybaks co-stars are noted model and singer Aylar Lie.
Melodi Grand Prix
Alexander Rybak won the final of the Norwegian national selection Melodi Grand Prix 2009 and will be representing Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, singing Fairytale, a song inspired heavily by Norwegian music. The song was composed and written by Rybak himself. The song is performed with the modern folk dance company Frikar. The song has received good reviews with a 6 out of 6 from Dagbladet a Norwegian newspaper. In an ESCtoday he was the lead in a poll with 71.3% to get into the final from the semi he was in.
Rybak achieved a clean sweep, gaining the top score of all 9 voting districts, ending with a combined televote and jury score of 747888, whereas the runner up Tone Damli Aaberge received a combined score of merely 121856.
