Biography
Krassimir was born in the small Bulgarian town of Sliven, but later on moved to Bulgaria’s capital Sofia, where he studied and worked. Therefore, Krassimir has the modesty of a small- town boy combined with a big-city spirit for success.
A graduate of the National Academy for Theatrical and Film Arts (NATFIZ), he trained in pantomime under the guidance of the famous Professor Vassil Indzhev. But Krassimir, being blessed with a very rare and unique male voice, the tenor-altino, could not stay silent for long. His 1997 debut album, Silent Voices topped the pop charts in Bulgaria. One year later Krassimir’s journey would continue in the entertainment capital of the world, Los Angeles, California.
At the 2005 L.A. Music Awards, Krassimir received an honor previously bestowed upon such music notables as Gwen Stefani, Korn and Black-Eyed Peas: he won Superstar of the Year for his 2005 album Popera. Krassimir celebrated with a standing-room solo concert at Hollywood’s home of the Oscars, the prestigious Kodak Theatre. The audience gathered at the venue witnessed his bending and blending of musical genres – a synergy of classical and pop music called “popera.”
According to an old saying, one is defined by the company he keeps. Therefore, it is important to note that in December 2008, Krassimir is featured in the album The Best Pop-Opera 2009, Volume 2 alongside pop opera virtuosos like Jose Carreras and Mario Frangoulis. Krassimir’s song Memories was selected for the pilot single in the prestigious album.

Azis is a gay icon, he was born as "Vasil Troyanov Boyanov" on March 7th 1978. He is a Bulgarian-Serbian Romani chalga-singer (pop-folk / turbofolk) known for - among other things - his atypical sexual / transgender expression and his flamboyant persona.
According to the artist's interviews, he adopted the pseudonym "Azis" after the name of a character in a Turkish TV film he saw as a child.
Azis performed at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 for Bulgaria with the song "Let Me Cry" alongside Mariana Popova.
His discography includes: "Celuvai Me" (2003), "Na Golo" (2003), "Kraliat" (2004), "Together" with Desi Slava (2004), "2005" (2005), "Duets" (2005) and "Diva" (2006).
Azis has recorded and performed many songs with some of the most popular Bulgarian pop-folk singers, like Desislava, Gloria, Malina, Sofi Marinova, Toni Storaro, the Serbian singer Marta Savic and also the rap performer Ustata in drag.
He began his political career in 2005 as a member of the EuroRoma political party and ran in the general elections campaign in the summer of 2005.
On October 1st 2006, Azis married his husband Niki Kitaetsa. Still their marriage is not legally recognized given the laws of Bulgaria...
In the 2006 TV programme "Velikite Balgari" (the Bulgarian version of the 2002 Greatest Britons from BBC), Azis was elected as the 21st greatest Bulgarian of all time (and was in fact the second ranking living person on the list, after football player Hristo Stoichkov, who was 12th).
Azis appeared on the VIP Brother 2 version of Big Brother Bulgaria alongside his husband Niki Kitaetsa. Azis left the house voluntarily after nineteen days.
On 05 August 2007 Azis became a father. His newborn daughter is named Raya. Raya was conceived via artificial insemination; the baby's mother is Azis' life-long friend Gala.
At the end of November 2007, scandal erupted when Boiko Borisov, mayor of Sofia, elected to take down billboards with pictures of Azis kissing his husband. Both men were shirtless in the campaign. Although Borisov said the posters were too graphic, much more explicit advertising could be found all over Sofia, which has led the LGBT social movement Gemini and the director of TV2 that hosts the show to speculate that the same-sex nature of the ad, as opposed to its racy content, led to its removal. These posters are to be removed from towns all over the country.
Beginning from 2008, Azis is the host, alongside with actress Ekaterina Evro, of the critically acclaimedtalk-show entitled "Azis's Late Night Show". It airs on the national channel TV2.

"Illusion" is one of the nine songs that were selected by a special commission this weekend.
Avramov performed this song live on January 24, 2009 at the Eurovision "Be a Star Show" during the semi-final round.
This song is on the radio and has already become very successful. It is a mix of contemporary and traditional sound and has every chance of becoming a number one hit. This song will represent Bulgaria in Eurovision 2009. In "Illusion" you will not only hear the incredible vocals of Krassimir in a "pop era" style, you will also hear world-famous Bulgarian Kavaldjia Teodosii Spasov, violinist Keran Brigs, and national singer Cvetanka Varimezova, from the oldest Bulgarian ensemble for the national musical "Philip Kutev".
Attached to the song is a recorded grand video which will premiere in early 2009. The production by Valerie Milev, taking four full days, brings expectations for a very spectacular video. Lastly, there were some amazing scenes recreated from the medieval century. In these scenes, there were not only professional actors, but Avramov, famous for his unique four-octave voice, was involved as well. Avramov has been residing in Los Angeles for the last 10 years. A few days ago Krassi got a world appreciation award for one of the most incredible voices in pop opera. His new compilation entitled, " The Best Pop Opera 2009" (Part 2) was released in Turkey on Dec. 4th. You will hear many world-famous singers in this genre, including Jose Kareras and Bairon Mino. Avramov will also have a song entitled "Memories" on the album. Krassimir Avramov was the first Bulgarian to perform a two-hour concert in the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles for the 2006 Oscar Awards. He is the only Bulgarian with a "Star of the Year" award from the 2006 Los Angeles Music Awards.
