Biography

Albania will have one of the youngest performers this year but none the less a total professional, having won several prizes and having a career of more than six years!

Kejsi Tola

She was born on the 5th of February in 1992 and will now represent Albania in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest.

Kejsi is studying in the artistic lyceum of Jordan Misja in Tirana.

Her career started when she was 11-years-old in the Young Voices of Albanian Festival Song contest winning the first prize, and two time winner of the young voices of the Shkodra Festival Contest.

In the first Contest of Young Geniuses she was one of the ten finalists. In 2008 she won the Best New Artist prize in the Friday Fever Song Contest of Albanian modern music, and in 2008 winner of the Albanian Radio Television Song Contest with the song Carry Me In Your Dream which will represent Albania at Europe's favorite TV-show.

“I love singing and this is very important for me. Music gives me an inner strength, which I sometimes don’t show up in my daily life, but that comes out when on stage.” These are the words of Kejsi waiting to sing her dream in the Olimpiyski Indoor Arena in Moscow.

ΒΙΟΓΡΑΦΙΑ:Η Kejsi Tola γεννήθηκε μόλις 16 χρόνια πριν στην Αλβανία! Ξεκίνησε να τραγουδά από τα 10 της όταν έκανε μαθήματα φωνητικής για κλασσική μουσική (Canto). Έχει συμμετάσχει ακρετές φορές σε πάρα πολλά εθνικά
φεστιβάλ της χώρας της όπως τα "Voices of the Youths", "Tirana Festival", "Festival of Children", "Top Fest" κερδίζοντας σε αρκετά απο αυτά την πρώτη θέση... Η Kejsi επίσης συμμετείχε το "Friday Night Fever" (η Αλβανική έκδοση του Pop Idol)
κερδίζοντας και εκεί την πρώτη θέση. Με αυτή τη νίκη έγινε διάσημη στη χώρα της κάτι που την οδήγησε στη συμμετοχή της στο "Festivali I Kenges". Δισκογραφικά δεν έχει κάνει καμία δουλειά μέχρι στιγμής και παρά το γεγονός ότι πολλοί το περιμένουν λίγο μετά την ESC, η ίδια διαψεύδει τις φήμες αυτές καθώς δηλώνει ότι είναι πολύ νέα ακόμη και έχει όλο το χρόνο μπροστά της για να ψάξει τραγούδια καλά και γραμμένα από
σπουδαίους συνθέτες... Προς το παρόν έχει επικεντρωθεί στη συμμετοχή της στην Eurovision 2009 με το τραγούδι "Me Merr Ne Enderr"...

Biography
Kejsi Tola is a 16 year old Albanian singer and the winner of Albanian Idol 2007. In 2008 she was the winning contestant in the Festivali I Këngës competition to find the representative for Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, Russia. Kejsi's entry has been submitted by Edmond Zhulali who was responsible for the nations very first Eurovision entry The Image of You in Eurovision Song Contest 2004 performed by Anjeza Shahini.
Tola will now represent her nation at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Russia after winning the national final on December 21.
